What we can change is only what is our own i.e. thoughts, feeling and emotional responses, we can heal our wounds, we can take charge of the situation and change our reactions into responses. As we change from the inside, our external situations change as well.

It’s up to you to accept that transformation from inside is the real transformation. It’s up to you to accept that the negative circumstances in your life were attracted by the negative programs or patterns inside you. It is also not about digging information about others.
It is not a replacement for medicines
It is not just about the therapist doing his part. You should also be honest and ready to share useful details with him/her.
Its results should ideally be long lasting but it might require some self improvement work on your own.
Once you reach a certain resolved stage, therapy should empower you to deal with your problems on your own instead of making you dependent on therapy sessions.
